Why Your Breath Matters More Than You Think
You can survive weeks without food, days without water, but only minutes without breath.
So why are most of us walking around breathing like we're trying to conserve oxygen for later?
Your breath is literally the remote control for your nervous system. It's the ONE thing that runs on autopilot that you can also hijack whenever you want. Which makes it your secret weapon for:
Calming the f*ck down when life gets spicy
Actually sleeping through the night
Having more energy without mainlining coffee
Supporting your pelvic floor (yes, really!)
Managing pain, stress, and those "why is everything so much right now" moments
But here's the plot twist most breath work classes skip:
You can't breathe fully if your body won't let you.
Tight hip flexors are literally yanking on your diaphragm. Restricted fascia is squeezing your ribcage like a corset you didn't ask for. Jaw tension is making you breathe like you're perpetually annoyed (fair, but still). Your compressed pelvic floor is like "nope, not today."
